An exploration into cymatics, this piece utilises the self-built Hydorwoofer, used in conjunction with a Neopixel Ring (produced by Adafruit).
Performed by Aletheia at Spectrum Project Space May 9th 2016. The video of section 1 of this piece acts as the score, where the ensemble (arranged in a circle) responded to the colour of the light with a note of their choice. When performers played was determined by their position in the circle, relative to a position on the light ring. The sound the performers made -came through the projected score, obscuring it; producing interesting patterns and sound. Section 2 was notated and the light ring was activated by the volume of sound coming from performers.
